Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you sign in, we receive your name, email address, and a Firebase user ID from Google. When you connect your Google account, Google issues a short-lived OAuth access token that lets The Classroominator act on Google Classroom and Google Drive on your behalf, for the single request in progress. We do not store that token.
What we don't store
The Classroominator does not keep a copy of your Classroom content, Drive files, or student data. Files you attach are sent directly to Google Drive; assignments and materials you post are sent directly to Google Classroom. We don't retain file contents, student names, or student submissions.
Operation records
To prevent accidentally duplicating a post or a delete (for example, from a double click or a network retry), we keep a short operation record for each post, delete, or topic change you make: an operation ID, your account ID, the type of action, its status, and timestamps. These records don't contain your Classroom content.
Google API data
We access only what's needed to show you your courses, topics, Drive files, and existing posts, and to carry out the Post, Move, Organise, and Delete actions you choose to run. We don't request more Google permissions than those actions require.
Who can see your data
Nobody but you. Every action is performed using your own Google authorisation, scoped to your own account, and we don't share your data with third parties.
